JULY: Summer Oil pastels workshop 21/07

Sunday 21st July, 10 - 1 pm

Location: Stem and Green Flower Farm,

Join Author & Painter, Becki Clark for an illustrative oil pastels workshop exploring summer inspiration from the flower field of Stem & Green.

The workshop will begin with you exploring & picking your blooms from the flower field, filling a large Kilner jar with beautiful summer blooms. Becki will then take you step by step through how to create a colour palette that reflects your inspiration, working through how to work with oil pastels and create different effects with application techniques on the paper.

We will then use the shapes and colours from our picked posies to explore how illustrate the flowers in a free-flowing style. Becki will be on hand with tips and tricks to create movement and add details with texture. The workshop includes your own set of oil pastels which you’ll get to take home after the session.

Tea, Coffee & Cake will be provided, and you’ll take home a jam jar full of blooms with your paint set.

Terms:

If heavy rain is forecast, we will move the workshop to another date, and a full refund will be given in the event you can't make the new date. 

A full refund will be given if you cancel 7 days before the workshop, 50% refund thereafter.
